Work is completed on PMG’s Berth 10 mooring dolphin project at Port of Townsville. First step was installation of 7 off raking piles, driven to around 30m penetration. PMG have recently completed reconstruction of a damaged seawall at Cape Flattery for Cape Flattery Silica Mines. The aim of the exercise was to rebuild a damaged seawall to protect the export jetty abutment against erosion and wave action. The project is an initiative of the PNG Climate Change Development Authority which has focussed on constructing climate change resistant infrastructure.
